We want every customer that comes to us to be happy with the purchase that they have made. There will however be occasions where the customer wishes, for whatever reason, to return the product bought from us and either exchange it for something else or receive a full refund. For us to be able to consider either an exchange or refund we need the item to be returned to us unused, in all original undamaged or torn packaging with where applicable all detachable parts and instructions and be in an immediate re-saleable condition. Any returns should be made within a reasonable time period (usually 16 days)
If when products have been returned to us they are found to have either damaged packaging or have been used – in the case of capsules, where a sleeve has been opened or a capsule is used we will not be able to give a refund on any opened sleeves of capsules (not in a re-saleable condition). Any sleeves of capsules returned undamaged, un-opened and in a re-saleable condition will be able to receive either an exchange or refund. In the case of coffee machines we will not be able to sell as new a used machine and will have to be checked by our engineers and then only sold as used / refurbished and therefore we will be unable to offer a full refund and possibly deduct up to 40% of the original selling price from the refund amount to cover any costs we may incur to make good the machine. This does not affect your statutory rights.
After 16 days from date of purchase, applying only for the purchase of a coffee machine, the guarantee will become a repairing guarantee / warranty valid for two years on production of a dated purchase invoice from ourselves.
REPAIR UNDER WARRANTY
When you purchase a Caffitay coffee machine sold to you directly by Caffe Capsules you will receive a two year warranty only on production of a dated purchase invoice from ourselves.
This warranty however does not cover any damage which occurs as a result of scale or customer misuse of the coffee machine and if this is found to be the case a charge for the repair will be made.
If we find when we receive a coffee machine for a warranty repair that the machine has a not repairable fault we will replace the coffee machine in the first instance and if it is not possible to replace the machine with the same model we will offer a different model or a refund.
